Four years ago I lost my virginity on live, streaming television.

Too bad I wasn’t awake for it.

The video went viral. Of course it would. A Senator’s daughter on camera? Wouldn’t you click “share”? Besides, that’s what three of the four guys in the video did.

They shared me.

But that fourth guy? The nondescript one in the background in the upper left corner of the screen, just sitting on the couch? The only one who did nothing?

Not one single thing.

That was my boyfriend, Drew.

And that was the last time I saw him.

Until today, when my father—now on a path to the White House—hired him as head of security for my new team as I return home after four years of “recovering” in an undisclosed location that involved white lab coats, needles, pills and damage control.

You see, the other three guys never went to jail. Never had charges pressed.

Never faced consequences.

Until today.

Game on.

  • A Gem!!!!

I was enthralled from the first sentence, a horrifying story told with sensitivity, grit and a fast paced plot. Can't ask for better and I can't wait to read more from this author!
  • Cliff hanger

I HATE endings like this one. The writer has alienated me forever from reading any more of her works. All to sell the next book in a series, really? Meli has good writing ability but poor judgment about endings.
  • Can't put down!!

  • A beautifully twisted, emotion-packed story

    By Meelielove
I think with any book an author has to really be connected to her characters in order to make you feel their every thought and emotion. This was just the beginning for Lindsay and Drew, there is so much more to their stories that will leave you twisted up and racking your brain to figure out what's next. Beware, it's emotional but definitely worth the read, I bought the other 2 books before I finished reading this one.
  • A 5 star read!!!!

    By Jillyin
I read A LOT of books. I don't usually give 5 star ratings unless it's something I would consider reading again. It's hard to find books that I can't put down from the first to last sentence of the book. This is one of them and deserves more reviews. This book was well written, has a great flow and a great story line. I know it sounds awful about a girl getting gang raped, and it is awful, but it's how she is dealing with it, with reality and sticking up for herself which isn't always easy, especially when her father is running for president. You will not regret reading this and I can't wait to read the next two books.
  • Cliffhanger

Not a bad book if you like being left hanging with no ends tied up at all.
  • Meh

The story kept me entertained...not enough to buy the other two volumes. I came for the theme, but left for the execution. When a story with a heavy sexual theme has phrases like "my V was wet and aroused," it seems to me it's written by someone who is not ready for it. "V" this, "V" that. Just say "vagina." For the seemingly intended audience, that word is age-appropriate. It wasn't terrible, but not as great as what I expected from one on the top charts.
