Description

Is she the answer to his dreams … or the person who will be forced to destroy them?

He’s a farmer, dammit, not a bookkeeper …

When Stetson Miller inherits his father’s farm in Idaho, he’s too focused on his crops to pay attention to the financial side of things. The next thing he knows, the bank is threatening to foreclose … and the auditor who’s come to examine his accounts is the sexiest thing he’s ever laid eyes on.

She’s checking him out … in more ways than one …

Jennifer Kendall doesn’t mind a tough job, but the handsome Stetson is trouble of a different kind. The sparks between them fly even faster when the road washes out and Jennifer has to spend the night on the farm. But passion alone won’t pay the bills. Can Jennifer find a way for Stetson to save his farm?

And if she can’t, will he ever forgive her?

Accounting for Love is a sweet attraction at first sight story. But the stereotype of a bank auditor being a bad guy to a farmer causes said farmer Stetson to fight the attraction. I liked these characters, Jennifer is truly a good honest person. Stetson may not be good with figures but is a really hardworking dedicated farmer. Their tale is touching, sometimes funny, and quite sexy.

Just finished reading this book and I liked it. It's about a stubborn farmer who has hit a rough patch in his life and struggling to make ends meet and an accountant who works for the bank who's come to see if she can save his farm from foreclosure. He of course hates her on principle alone but the chemistry they have together is smoking hot and he can't help but fall for her. She tried being a professional and ignore how attractive she found him but when they both give in it's explosive.

ACCOUNTING FOR LOVE by Erin Wright. New author for me to read. I like the catchy title, and cover. Stetson, has taken over the ranch, after father's death, only to the running of it. His father was the bookkeeper, of which all the unpaid bills have now collected. Stetson had no idea how to make any sense from it, and his anger at the bank. Jennifer comes to audit, trying to find away to save, not take the ranch. First meeting Sparks fly not just because they didn't send a guy. Will they find a source to keep the ranch, and for love to grow. Interesting plot, good characters, of love and being a farmer. How will the accounting go, when you get two checks a year. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

This was a fun quick read. Stetson thinks the worst of Jennifer when she comes to audit his books. She is used to this type of reception. The spark grows as they realize their attraction and give in. Jennifer is smart and knows things should not be happening the way they are but goes with her instincts. Stetson is adorable as a spoiled child, gentleman, and knight in shining armor. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and will look for more in the Long Valley series. I received a copy of this story as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

A pleasant afternoon escape. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is the first time I have read anything written by Erin Wright. The story had quite a few typos and wrong words used but I'm never sure at what point of the ARC process a book is in for edits. I would call this book a typical 'city girl falls in love with incredibly buff cowboy' romance. The sex scenes were tame, by comparison, of what is out there today in most romance books. I did, however, find the description of their first kiss to be a little 'aww moment'. I loved Carmelita and her sassiness. Jennifer's boss sounds just like mine on occasion. Overall, I found it to be an enjoyable Sunday escape.

I highly recommend this book. This is a very well written story. The characters become your friends. You can't help but love them all. I couldn't wait to get back to the story each time I had to pause in reading. I'm very excited for the next book in the series. The book was provided to me by the author and I chose to give an honest review of the story because I enjoyed it so much.

Two people, Jennifer and Stetson could not be more unlikely. She is from the city and he is in the country. She is an accountant and he's a farmer. And yet, sparks fly between them. As Jennifer and Stetson's feelings grow deeper for each other, an innocent question could put an end to everything. This is a feel good, down to Earth, make you feel warm on the inside romance that you will enjoy.
