Description

Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

Luke Williams just wants the world to give him a break, so seeing yet another camera aimed at his face has him ready to pounce on the beauty behind the lens. When he finds out she has no idea who he is, he's intrigued and more than a little tempted by her. Natalie has a body made for sex, a sassy mouth and Luke can’t get enough of her, but he’s not ready to tell her who he really his.

Natalie is a no nonsense girl who doesn’t do well with lies and secrets. What will happen to this new relationship when she discovers what Luke’s hiding?

I couldn't finish this book. Luke was ridiculously jealous then over the top "sweet". Couldn't even make it half way through the book.

I really loved this book! I just wish the ending was extended.. It felt so rushed! One minute they're getting engaged, then she's pregnant, then a few pages later they're getting married and it ends🤔😡. Other than the ending, this book was well worth my time!! 😍👍🏾💋✨
  • I wanted to like it, really

I thought this was going to be a good, lighthearted read. It's not, it's painful in many places. The book needs some serious editing done to make it more readable and enjoyable. The dialog is often so stilted in places that it is difficult to read. For example, the couple ends up having a couple of drinks together and what appears to be an awkward 5 minutes conversation - but wow! Three hours have amazingly passed. The male lead crosses the line from alpha male to seeming possibly controlling/abusive. Not to mention that in several places extra words appear where the author was obviously editing and forgot to delete. As the book goes on it seems like nearly every detail is written out, so much so that I kept thinking to myself, "and then...and then...and then..." The book wraps up with every imaginable romance cliche thrown in for good measure. This *could* be a good read with considerable (professional) editing. I wish that it had been better and that I could trust that the other books would be an improvement, but I guess I have trust issues now too.

Most "scenes" were quite repetitive, couldn't finish it. Plus there were a lot of typos. Wondering if the book was proofread 😐

I couldn't believe how many times I read "the last two words were said in a whisper". Think of something else to say. I thought this series was about adults.

This is the only book I've ever wanted to write a review about. It was truly amazing. I like how Natalie and Luke went through some tough situations but still made it to the finish line (the perfect wedding). This book was really good and very romantic. I like how the author made a book about a curvy woman with insecurities because not all women are a size zero. Loved this book and will read it multiple times!!!

Luke is too good to be true. Luke has a secret that he does not want to share yet. The story has a lot of sex scenes. Their are a lot of complements and sweet talking. The chemistry between these two was quick. They went from meeting on the beach to dinner at his place and then sex at her place. All in the span of two days. I hate to be so negative about this story because nothing negative happens in it. But that's what the problem is. Life does not work this way therefore it's missing the realistic quality. Finding the perfect match only happens in books. If we could all create our perfect match then life would be easier to bare. This story runs through a long check list of positive qualities that Luke is blessed with. ✔️he wants to introduce Natalie to his family, the families get along, he likes her friend ✔️they have chemistry, he's attentive, she's responsive, they make love ✔️they defend each other, they protect each other, they respect each other ✔️they bathe together then dry each other, they caress each other, Luke gives her foot and back massages ✔️never gets tired of spending time together, dances with her, carries her ✔️enjoys terms of endearments, compliments, finds tattoos sexy, finds piercings sexy ✔️wants to spoil her, takes her shopping, wants to buy her clothes and shoes ✔️says "I love you", wants kids, wants to get married, wants to live together The author tends to put too much emphasis on these qualities. The author exaggerated these characters to a level that made them too good to be true. It grated on my nerves all the fabulous qualities Luke possessed. Its weird reading and thinking that people might actually get turned on by these qualities such as watching someone drive, or someone's tattoos, or watching someone read or watching someone eat. It was like nothing about them annoyed each other. The story is quite long but then again she could not miss an opportunity to leave out anyone of those qualities. I realize it's a story however it would have been nice to not have had each quality become wonderful as if they were perfect. Everyone has flaws.
